happenings at the k house

just got back from tiff and eddie's birthday gathering at the k house.
lotsa fun and laughter as usual. daryl's got the gift of making people laugh! he's just a natural. kudos. oh i met sam chandra at the party, cept that i didn't know he was a chandra till this other guy rob told me. hope they upload photos on facebook soon!

shuks and andrew came over to study yesterday. i cooked indomee for shuks and myself for dinner, and microwaved this instant beef lasagne thing from safeway for tung. eh heh heh. eh, my indomee was more balanced than normal ok, i had vegies with garlic, egg and crab meat. :)
i am quite glad they came over cause we not only managed to study, but we also shared about a couple of things with each other which i really do treasure.

i've cooked a fair bit this week and it felt good. i was really excited about cooking claypot chicken (for the second time) for dong on thursday and it turned out better than the first time. yay! haha i kinda understand how cooking can sometimes feel like art now. it's like being able to mix stuff, see things change colour, change texture, start to smell nice... or burn. i tried making lentil soup on friday too. but it turned out slightly tasteless. owell.

ps tim and i had a good chop-chop catch-up session after service today.
