cant live to eat

had lunch with the housemates at port melbourne today. haha i like this picture with the italian waiter cause we were all joking about how his cheek was so warm against mine. AHAHAHA! he appears to enjoy his job quite a bit and it really makes a difference. haha lishan looks so happy.

ANYWAY, it was good catching up with the rest again, even though most of us were stressing about getting back to the city before 3.30 because we had assignments due when uni starts again the coming week.

lunch felt like it was still making its way to my stomach when it was time to leave for dinner with mandy, kensington guys and co. we had dinner at old kingdom which is well known for its peking duck. it's so good that you have to order in advance. and.. one duck can probably pay for half the shopping i did with mummy. lol. yeah.....

there's something about the way that lady asked us for loose change that didn't feel right. she was dressed in casual work attire, hair done up nicely and all. her story was that her car had run out of petrol and forgot to bring her wallet and her phone was flat. so. yeah. i dunno. she's probably on drugs. i'd wanted to ask to see her car keys.. but.. what's the point right? you can prove that she's not really in the situation she claims to be in, but so what? either way, it all boils down to whether you're gonna give her some cash, or if you're just gonna look right past her and pretend that your hearing's impaired.

i reallly dont like having to make decisions in situations like this. what different outcomes can there be?
1) give her money which she uses on drugs to make her happy for a fleeting moment
2) give her money which she uses to feed herself.
3) ignore her and pretend she's never existed.
4) buy her a tram ticket so she can go home and get her wallet which is probably empty anyway so she'll ask for money....
5) buy her food
6) buy her food and turn her to a welfare organization
7) buy her food, talk to her, point her to a welfare organization, tell her about an Unconditional Love.

shikes. the options get harder and harder.

honestly, i was quite scared becuase she was really imposing. WWJD?
