feeling: HAPPY!!

haha i managed to get a copy of the macroeconomics textbook from the reserve collection which is definitely a miracle! it was the only copy left on the shelf PLUS, it was an OVERNIGHT LOAN!

there is an insanely high demand for this book which has an extremely low supply. you need to be an intro-mac-student-who-doesnt-have-a-textbook to understand how slim your chances are of getting this overnight loan. people actually "camp" near the reserve section so that they can keep checking to see if the overnight loan's available. haha.

before i left home i asked God to let me borrow the book, and i asked for an overnight loan. i think i just managed to get it a split second before this other girl. she was standing in that area, but she was diggin through her bag, so without thinking i just took the book and left. and the thoughts that went through my mind were "wow, God. are you serious??"

guess my point in saying all this is that God is a big guy who pays attention to little things like that. some might say "oh it's just a small thing, just a coincidence", just like how people might have gone "oh that's just a normal star, who cares what it means" to the 3 wise men who followed the star that led them to where Jesus was born.

for them the star was their sign that pointed them to God.
i believe for me, this book (well, not a huge sign or a miraculous miracle BUT) is something that tells me that God cares about the little things that may not seem very big or important to other people but mean something to me.

however, im in no way saying that if you manage to get an overnight loan that's a sign. people see different things differently so God may use different things to show two people the same thing, depending on what they respond to. :)
