sweet foiled surprise!

tiff, su-anne, mandy, andrew, su ling, joanna and i were just wrapping up our bible study at one of the conference rooms at college square when suddenly gwen and dong popped out from no where.
they all tried to surprise me.. BUT gwen had already shoved the box in my face. HAHAHA.. the BOX, not the cake.
but i'm glad to say, it was not the least bit disappointing because i honestly didn't expect it.

oh hang on, i guess i was disappointed that daryl and eddie weren't there tonight.
but anyway, after that, we went to universal for supper. half the place was taken up by OCFers.

they all sang me a birthday song and it was really weird, but sweet at the same time, cause i STANDING between tables and everyone else was just around and i had no where to hide my face.

it was all really great.

they got me 7 bottles of nail polish!!

and they also got me a book.
a REALLY wordy book. (i have a feeling i'll learn a lot from it though)
the thing about getting books is that (in my humble opinion), it takes more thought than getting a "gift" kinda present. yeah, more thought will have to be put into choosing a book than almost any other present, agree?


i'm one happy girl tonight, even though my birthday's not till sunday.
lol. i got back not to long ago at 1.40, su-ann drove me back.

andrew called from singapore to wish me an early happy birthday! LOL
