holding hope

"... but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." - Romans 5:3-5

what is worth hoping for? and what is then worth suffering for?




i have certain career goals, but if you ask me what i really want, i refer back to something really simple, and i realise in my own secret place that the simplest things can be the hardest to have.
