ok random title there cause i couldn't think of one. which reminds me - jon lee's been trying to convince me that i look a bit like rihanna. he's even done a comparison photo thing (actually he succeeded with the photo, i secretly think he did a decent job).

i had a very good talk with ys just now. makes me wonder how i've changed this year. i definitely have grown - been tested time and again.

bill johnson said something i find really interesting. if we do not learn how to seek God (not just to make things better) in our problems, how are we gonna expect to seek him when everything's so smooth sailing?

some people look to their fathers and say "that who i wanna be". they can tell you all about their dads and how strong and sacrificial they are. that's when you go "wow. that's exactly what being a father means - raising your child in a way that calls them to be like you without having to explicitly tell them to follow you".
