fallscreek!

ok i figured i'd better update my blog on my weekend trip up to the snowy tips of fallscreek!
needless to say it was ferreeezing but a GREAT BIG LOAD OF FUN!
the three of us were at bolle picking up some snow gear last week.
on thursday night, dong came round to pick me, gwen and mish up and we joined the rest at south kensington. alarms went off at 3am and we got changed and loaded the car with food and clothes and projector and laptops and rice cooker and EVERYTHING else that constitutes an excellent weekend getaway in the mountains. i took kyle's car with mish, mandy and dong.

we saw the sunrise from the car and lots of cows on the way. midway up the mountian we saw cars coming down with snow on their roofs and we were all going "oh looookk!! SNOWWWW!!" haha.. mandy and dong were probabaly the happiest cause that was the first time they were seeing snow :D before we knew it, we were up in the snow.

we stayed in this beautiful apartment with FLOOR HEATING, complementary beers, all the pots and pans you need to cook, oven, rice cooker, toaster, coffee machine, drying room and not to mention a FIREPLACE! it was nothing short of a perfect place to stay in for a winter holiday.

AhMunnaEatChoo!

dong and daryl started the fire and we had marshmellows with peanut butter and nutella! it was DELICIOUS!! heh, not to mention sinful. after that, we projected a horror movie with daryl's office projector and huddled up by the fire with our sleeping bags and blankets. good stuff.

this last picture of me in my ski pants if for ching the great, who went on the quest to search for MAMAPANTS!

i must say going on a snow trip with good friends is one of the things you CANNOT say "no" to without a VERY VERY good reason. i've made snowmen before, but making a snowman with friends is a totaly different thing.. haha.. i'll see if i can post a picture of that too. getting EXCITED TOGETHER about jumping into the snow and snowballing everyone is crazy stuff. haha.. and sticking your tongue out to taste the falling snow. :)

back to reality, it's time for work again.
