places!

it was my first time in albert park yesterday and i absoloutely fell in love with the beautiful quaint little suburb. Defo taking the family there when they come over. wish dong and i went there when he was still around too. the horticulture side of the landscape design was lovely . had fish and chips there with jon lee yesterday evening (at Salt Water Grill Fish & Chippery) cause i suggested going to andrew's hamburgers BUT it was closed. we also went to Jock's ice-cream because mandy mentioned it when we were having coffee, and jon lee also mentioned that it was in the area.
i think what i loved the most about albert park was walking past combicoffee. it was closed though so we only got to see tho outside. it was like right out of a children's story book! this picture doesn't do it justice.

anyway, i spent this morning in the library looking for relevant industry reports though i didn't have much time before i had to meet lita at william angliss to speak to her teacher. unfortunately that got cancelled so i went all the way back to uni to continue research and preparing for my metting with tim. it was good that tim and managed to talk about useful frameworks and just to be able to tell him where im at and how i've been feeling about the work so far. thus far there have been many ideas runing around, but not much focus, and i'm not sure which to nail down, also because i feel like we're not ready to nail anything down just yet.
on a side note, last friday, after we left the reverse art truck, Eugene got a call from the lady at the Reverse Art Truck telling him some stuff just came in that we might be able to use. nothing like that's ever come in before, and they wouldn't normally sell that much to just one customer but Eugene had shared the vision with her earlier in the day and she made an exception.
SO. MUCH. FAVOUR.
so just now he rolled out huge sheets of leave decals that would be perfect for the basement. i really loved them. much more than the ones we bought on thursday. it's a bad thing for him though because.. they're bigger than what he'd like.. but i guess that kinda means that i could use them for the basement. haha oops. apparently he got a discount for some alcohol he bought over the weeken for the staff party as well because.. the guy liked him. haha. growing in favour with God and man this guy. he must live such a life of surrender.
Dinner at Tiamo with Phebe, Doreen, Joseph and Sean Major was good too. it was spontaneous and i like how even though they are not people I've had dinner with before we were all attentive to each other and the conversation was all very comfortable. hearing phebe out on some of the difficult things in her life was also precious.
i hear a choir singing. OMG. im going down to check it out now
