it's only mid week and i feel as though so much has been happening!
was woken up by aimee on monday who wanted to have lunch, so i had to wake up for lunch. hahaha. i laugh because she's someone who wakes up before the sun rises and never gets how i can sleep in till so late in the day.
Monday night was dinner with the palmerston girls. good times good times. ze has become more lady like. haha maybe that's what boyfriends do. someone made the same comment about me last week after not having seen me since 4 years back.
Tuesday morning, matt, deon and i met to prepare for a presentation to the Triple Helix Comm.
We obviously could not and did not meet up during the holidays so we settled on meeting just before the presentation.
It went surprisingly smoothly, and I'd like to thank God for that.
We did not pin too much hope on winning because Deon's going to Milan for exchange and Matt wasn't too keen on working with TTH.
We walked in to the room, and realised that the previous team had prepared lovely handouts. they had a marketing proposal and a game plan. Actually the guys noticed those, i was just happy doing what i needed to do.
Today, upon checking my email, I was pleasantly surprised that lo and behold, we actually came in first! at this point, again i had mixed feelings because I wasn't sure whether I wanted to commit to working with TTH.
We'll see how things go.
Aunty Merrilyn also arrived at my place on tuesday. right after the presentation, i headed home to help her settle in my humble abode. Joel and leland had picked her up from the airport. The three of us then went for lunch with her at corretto.
before i knew it, i had to rush off to meet tim. Great conversation as usual. Shortly after I got home from Arrow, Winnie and Zach came to pick me up for dinner with the rest of the housechurch at Winston's.
today was another busy day. 4 hours of classes followed by catch up with adeline and a hunt for a lost parcel which brought me to the post office, my old apartment, and back to the post office again.
Too much excitement for the day, i took a much needed nap, only to be woken up by jon lee who picked me up for dinner at Arrow.
The welcome party was inspiring. im tempted to write to caleb about how the basement got turned into a dancefloor, and what happening people there are around here.
it was really interesting. tim's little item with jorji and shing really made me see him in a different light. haha with a happening pastor, no wonder the people are happening.
the guys also kept trying to drag tim to the dance floor after. lol. crazy.
so refreshing. time for bed.
