back in action!

Im finally back in melbourne after a sleepless flight which landed me in a semi-zombie state the whole of yesterday (save for the short window after coffee at mr close).

not that i can't sleep on planes, it was quite comfortable in the A380, but the movies were great too. haha. so was the company. i was sandwiched between two pleasant aussie girls who have lived half their lives in asia. incidentally, we all have a long distance relationship. haha :) probably the best plane company i've had with strangers.

it took over an hour to clear customs. it's a nightmare in melbourne airport, much unlike singapore. so though we landed at 6.20am, i only reached home at 9. and crashed immediately, needless to say. i was hoping to make it for service but slept right through, waking up just when service was ending so i rushed down for lunch with the bunch, and coffee thereafter because lunch, like melbourne airport, was a nightmare.

the highlight of my day was our visit to tim's. waihong, vong, gel, mandy and i drove to tim&cheryl's and spent the rest of the evening hacking wood for the fireplace, getting the fire (in the fireplace - no bbq) going, preparing beautiful red wine casserole and setting the place up for a long evening of great conversation from paintball to fighting to sex.

haha intensely thought-provoking as usual. loved it. the hardest part was holding my bladder because i didn't wanna miss any bit of conversation. what better way to spend the first evening back in melbourne.
