Reading

i spent a relatively substantial amount of time in borders the past few days, and i think (and hope) that my interest in books has returned after... a decade. haha.

i wouldn't say interest in reading because i can hardly keep my concentration when im 30 over pages of textbook material.

perhaps this rekindled attention is a result of an accumulation of summer events (like really wanting to be a bit more like dong in that regard, and having to wait for people in places where bookstores were closeby, and meeting people who kinda read a lot.)

or perhaps it's just because borders is under external administration and i want to savour the last moments of its presence in carlton.

or because im escaping from prescribed textbooks.

it'll be good fun to educate the kids i will/hope to have. get them to be interested in something and read about it. and i'll bake with them and we'll mess up the kitchen (im not thinking about cleaning up just yet, dont bring me back to reality now) annndd.. if they're naughty i'll send them for tuition. heh heh heh. teach them not to listen to their mother.

this is the first semester i've got so much group work to do. feel like people are screaming for my time (and im screaming for theirs). it's scary having to form a group with people whose competencies you know nothing of, whose personality, motivations and expectations you have not the slightest hint about, and get graded on your performance as a team.
