the vegan co-op

aimee, hamish and i were chased out of the co-op shop at the union house today.
i walked in to look for a seat, but everyone turned around to look at me (perhaps also because i was the only asian there) and.. i had two sausages, one in each hand.

when aimee came up beside me, one of the guys with dreadlocks said that the area was only for co-op volunteers or customers only.

aimee went on to tell him that she was going to get tea.

but he told us that it was a vegan place and he felt very confronted by the fact that i was holding dead animals in my hand.

so we were purged!!!!!



i wonder what would have happened if i had gone "oh.. uh ok.. i'll just eat my sausages now then and you wont have to see them anymore."
