about what he hears

humans can be so complicated, because our "yes" may mean "no", and vice versa.
like what d's said before, what you say may not be what they hear.
kinda like how more often than not, when a girl says to the boy "leave me alone!", she's really saying "can't you see i'm really not ok and i need a hug??"

hey guys are not as simple and direct as you may think.

for nearly 18yrs i never quite understood how my dad shows love. i always thought he was quite clueless as to whatever was going on in my life, and i could never really communicate with him. wasn't until recently that i figured that he likes teaching, and communicates through acts of service. like when he was repairing my shoes (cause the cobbler refused to do it as it was too much work to fix), i just sat with him in the balcony, watching and learning as he showed me how to roughen the sole, and apply the glue etc.
and when i was bleaching my shorts, i got him to be the supervisor. he just knows better how things work.

communication is so important in building relationships, and mending broken ones, as well as keeping them healthy.

sometimes the most difficult people to communicate with are the ones closest to you.

sleep.
