my sunny weekend

i woke up late but still rather tired on saturday and headed to aimee's place in the arvo. she'd invited me for a square dance party her family and friends were holding at a school hall near berwick. her dad turned 49 together with 5 other people so they decided to hold a square party because 7squared give 49. there was lotsa square food, and food on square plates, and we all learnt square dancing which was pretty fun stuff. i was the only asian there for most of the night, but this other asian family popped in for a bit. i think all or most of them live in the countryside, which is why there are not many asians at all. oh i met a french girl by the name of clemos who's here on exchange. :D

anyway we got back to aimee's close to midnight (or was it slighly past?) and we were quite tired out. i didn't get to see very much of mr and mrs matthews though because they'd stayed on at the hall to help clean up. and i left really early this morning hoping to make it to church - which i did. :)

eh heh heh, kyle and i went off to do some shopping after church and i got a 2nd hand scarf for $4. yay. kyle picked it. he's one of the rare guys whos taste i trust more than mine. actually, i don't trust my own fashion taste very much. buuut.. on most days im too lazy to thrown on anything prettier than jeans and a t-shirt anyway.
anyway, here are pictures from dinner with the ex housemates at taco bill. the bill came up to almost $90 for just the 4 of us but ze had some coupons which slashed it by half. so that was good stuff. we finished our mexican mains with a mexican sticky date pudding, a tequila sunrise and a sangria.

mm ok dont feel like typing anymore words. i wanna look at pretty pictures.
