the bestie and me

mark's going back to new york on thursday.
wehung out yesterday and had lots of food and fun. we walked all the way from arrow, to brunswick, to the yarra,to the crown. the weather was good (a rather rare thing to have in melbourne at this time of year esp) but the best part of walking was that mark was playin gon his ukelele! :D

it was good fun. we went to the crown for the lunch buffet and burned everything off walking around in the city, checking federation square out and went coffee-hunting. (sorry it's past 2am my brain's not structuring sentences right)

we ended up at this spanish-owned coffee place where mark got me a giant cup of chai latte. goodness.. it was such a gianormous glass that i felt like puking after! mark was laughing at me cause he said i looked like i was having a hang-over. but whatever. i made him embarrassed by telling one of the spanish women who worked there that he wanted to sing her a song. haha.. he ended up singing "i'm yours" on the ukelele to a group of 5 of us. aahahha.. poor mark. he's very self-conscious when it comes to singing, even though he doesn't mind walking on the streets bent over like an old man, or skipping along swanston as though he was in a musical production.

don't know if we'll ever see each other again, but if we don't, i'm glad we could hang out even for this short period.
