nike human race

yes dong dragged me along for the nike run which took place on sunday. i must say it was a good run, not particularly difficult, nor was it easy. i was very happy with the weather we were running in actually. it was so good i could have run without a sweater. but i was too lazy to hold on to it while running so i kept telling myself "it's ok. it's not too hot. imagine guorong and prasad and the rest running in singapore. sure ten times hotter!"
hahahaha sorry guys.
oh i should also mention that on this last day of winter many people wore.. FBTs. and you can just tell that they are singaporeans. simply from the fact that they wear FBTs. it's such a singaporean thing i tell you! hahah it's like every girl has to go through this extra stage of puberty called the FBT stage or sthg where we get at least one pair of FBTs and where then all over the island be it in bugis junction, east coast park or the zoo. nope im not saying its a bad thing. im just saying that.... yeah interpret it however you like. i wear FBTs too. but not in winter. pfft.
anyway, dong and i didn't stay for the after-run concert. we dropped by DFO for a bit then headed back to my place. i washed up and we headed to south kensington with our lunch ingredients we'd bought from victoria market the day before.
we had SHEPHERD"S PIE FOR LUNCH!! inspired by this aunty who made yummy yummy shepherd's pie thingum.
yeah so dong and i made lunch together for the second time. teeheehee..this time, it was much closer to success than it was the first time when we had grilled salmon, brocolli and scrambled eggs. our shepherd's pie was actually good! :D ELISA CAN COOOOKKK!! (with help). haha.

after we ate and he'd washed up we went for evening service at crossculture church.

i then had an enjoyable dinner with abby, lishan, jolene, zelia and isaac at vinabar. yum.

yes that's what a sunday should be like. a relaxed day of exercise, cooking and eating with good company, and a good sermon and more yummy food!

then come the moday blues.

that's me staying back afer first period to finish up my math question while desmond snapped random pictures with my phone. (this is here just to show mummy i dont just play here in australia)

this is what happens when you are late for class. these three had to write "i am a bad student" on the white board. hahaha it was hilarious. james is quite an entertaining psychology tutor to have. see the bucket on the table? it's full of lollies and gummies that james passes round the class every week. or "passed" rather. he's spent over three hundred dollars on supplying us with junk food even before he got his first pay as a tutor (he's new). yeah so he's now too broke to stuff us with colourfulcandypopchocolategummythingumajigaswooo.

ok stop bugging me to post already!
